Suspended Moving Sculpture with Accompanying Wall Relief

Colored and transparent acetate represent colored Lucite

36 1/2" .h x 37 1/2" .w x 8 1/2" .d model view from 2nd floor balcony

My initial design proposed to the Arts Inclusion Program of New Jersey after seeing the site was making a painting in the air. I utilized colored and transparent acetate in this model to suggest watercolor my favorite painting medium as colored Lucite, a three-dimensional material. My concept was to suspend organic shapes that transported the natural light from the exterior on to the atrium surfaces. Its moving forms also suggested movement of its accompanying wall relief.
